Hi everyone! My name is Erin and this is my first post. I am doing a Lit Skills blog (hence the name) about what I am reading. I am currently reading Unwind by Neal Shusterman. It is about a boy named Connor. His parents signed a contract with his doctor, so that the doctor will unwind him. Being unwound is when the doctors kill you and then donate the organs to a person who needs them. But you're not really dead, because your organs live on. Connor and his friend Ariana want to escape for 2 years. Connor and Ariana are 16. If they can escape for 2 years (so, once they're 18) they can come back and the doctors can't unwind him. So far, Connor has been rejected by Ariana, who doesn't want to go with him. So now, Connor is alone. He has to find a place to go. My prediction is, that he will go live in an abandoned barn, or shack of some sort. I'm not sure, so I'll have to keep reading!

I LOVE THIS BOOK! If he goes and hides in a bar, it's going to make for a short story...haha...We will have to talk later because this is one of my favorite books of all time!
